My grandmother got me interested in the Tate-LaBianca murders. I’ve read all her books, including Helter Skelter and Will You Die For Me, by Tex Watson. She still follows all the parole board hearings and has in the past written letters in support of Doris Tate when she was alive and then later on Sharon’s sister Patti, who died of breast cancer. I think Debra Tate is the only survivor now. I know she’s the only surving sister of Sharon.
The murders were awfully brutal and bloody. That poor little guy visiting the gardener at Sharon’s house, Steven Parent, is almost lost in the story, but his death was tragic, sad and senseless as well.

"Yes, she did. She told me that she lost her knife up there; that she looked for it for a few minutes but could not find it, and then she said she thought the dog had taken it outside and buried it."
"As Miss Atkins was discussing these murders with you, did she say anything about how it felt to stab a human being with a knife?"

"She said that when the knife went in, it felt soft and that it was quite a thrill."
Does Atkins receive Kennedy style cancer treatment or VA style cancer treatment? The people footing the bill want to know.
