David Brooks, my friends, is a joke. "Intelligence" is about social circles and culture - it has nothing to do with actual intelligence - and certainly not principles or integrity.

Brooks also says he dislikes ideologues, but apparently has a mancrush on Obama, perhaps the biggest left-wing ideologue since FDR, if not ever. David Brooks is the definition of a pseudo-intellectual.

Why doesn’t Brooks just come out of the closet already?

Hard to tell who was the “dumbest man in the room” at that meeting.

Isn’t David Brooks supposed to be the Conservative voice on Jim Lehrer PBS??

Any “man” who finds it necessary to comment on the crease of another males “pant” has some serious gender identification issues.

You can be sure Bummer didn’t iron his own pants, and neither did Michelle.

David Brooks, my friends, is a joke.

Well, he's worse than that, he's a whore who sold out to the Slimes', homosexual cabal to be their dancing bear. They let him out for brief epsiodes, on a short chain leash, and watch in amusement while he attempts to parrot what he thinks they want him to say. At the Slimes this is laughingly called the "Willam Safire Chair of Political Commentary." and Brooks is the rightful heir.

It sounds like the right kind of person could easily pull the wool over this pseudo intellectuals eyes!

The right person just needs to have gone to the right schools, wear the right clothes, and project the right persona.

I suppose when you’re published regularly on the NY Times op-ed page it’s particularly difficult to realize when you’re really embarrassing yourself.

What idiotic dribble. Judge a man by his actions, not whether he has a house boy back home who irons his pants. Brooks will wake up someday with a helluva Kool-aid hangover.

An intelligent person is someone who can solve problems. A person who writes and reads all day but doesn’t know how to screw in a light bulb is an academic pseudo-intellectual.

David Brooks says about Obama...”I think he’s more talented than anyone in my lifetime. I mean, he is pretty dazzling when he walks into a room.”

David Brooks is the dumbest man alive. Oh, and he’s a flaming homosexual too.

David, do yourself a favor and head to you local gay bar ASAP.

Brooks reminds me here of one of those British tabloid writers who fawns over the royal family. Fawning over a politician is even more unbecoming of an American, though.

But it’s easy to understand. Brooks is first and foremost, a statist. If you believe in a strong central government, as Brooks does, and you believe that the central government should run most aspects of the lives of it’s citizens since the masses are just too stupid to run their own lives, as Brooks does, then it stands to reason you’re going to like a guy like BO who is confident that he’s just the guy to do it.

Brooks is the reason I take the words of any scribbler, whatever their political orientation, with a grain of salt. We have a number of “conservative” scribblers (Brooks, Parker, Noonan, etal) who succumbed to the Obama “charisma”. Anyone who fell for Obama’s line of bull definitely has issues.

"“Of recent presidents, Clinton could sort of talk like us, but Obama is definitely–you could see him as a New Republic writer."

Oh, I suppose. Just as long as Billy Ayers had a lot of free time and didn't need a byline ... (Or would it be a "Bi-Line" - you know, the coke you snort in the back of the limo with Larry Sinclair.)

Come to think of it, Brooks sounds like he's miffed that he didn't get invited to that party.

Yeah, Obama is a regular "Scott Thomas Beauchamp."
