Violence against whites in Hawaii has a long and storied past. My mother lived there as a youth and reported that it existed even way back then. Reading the subtext of this article, one is led to think that ethnic violence against whites is almost TO BE EXPECTED, as it is the norm.

I am going there in a month (against my will, BTW) and wonder if I can buy a large, cheap knife to wield at would-be attackers, then discard it before getting on the plane to go home.

It was certainly present when I was stationed there in the mid 70’s.

Geez — two places I’ve never really wanted to go. Las Vegas and Hawaii. Now, I’d love to see Hawaii, but I don’t like to go where I’m not wanted. And therre is nothing I can’t stand worse than a bunch of people living on tourist dollars who spend their time hating tourists.
