As I pointed out it appears that most people at this point in time do want smaller government. What I'm most concerned about people understanding who is for small government and who (Obama) is against small government.

Ummm..., actually, it was more like... I consider the *election* as the more important “indicator”.... LOL... And from that indicator, it appears to me that it was liberals who put Obama into office...

According to exit polls, 27% of the voters who voted for Obama in the 2008 election, think that "government is doing too much". That's 17 million people who are more conservative than the status quo. That's also 17 million people (idiots) were mislead into thinking that Obama was for smaller government. You said — Your survey is simple, but I don’t think it’s a more accurate indicator than the Gallup poll which shows that there are more conservatives in this country than liberals.

BTW, you should do something about your "ummm" impediment. Just a suggestion.

Well..., it’s pretty funny to take the “data” from the election that you are I are talking about and say that this is a good result... LOL...

From where I stand it got a liberal elected. Now..., you may call that good news, but I call it bad news... :-)
