One has to wonder what the numbers would be if Obama had to face the hostile press that faced Bush, and if Bush had the "tingling leg" press that Obama has.
I posted this type of thread before comparing Gallup numbers but Obama has since lost another point... and its fun to email this link to lib friends...-lol.

" and its fun to email this link to lib friends...-lol. " Indeed it is! And I love to remind them that Bush got up to over 90% approval rating which Obama will never see. And if I am really feeling spiteful I add that I miss the Bush days when Americans had jobs with unemployment at 4%.

Notice how they cut the top 20% off of the graph in order to make the lines look more level.

One has to wonder what the numbers would be if Obama had to face the hostile press that faced Bush, and if Bush had the "tingling leg" press that Obama has. You don't have to wonder. For the two months after 9/11, when the media was petrified to criticize President Bush, his approval rating was around 90%. They had to work overtime for the rest of his presidency to tear that number down.

The important thing to note is that it isn't even Sept. 11th yet. Bush's numbers went ballistic after that date in 2001. Even staunch libtards came out in print saying, "Thank God we elected Bush." Of course it only took them a few weeks to "come to their senses" but they were on record by then. I suppose that was one reason they ultimately came to hate him so much.

And to put that in context, remember how angry the left was about Bush “stealing” the 2000 election from Gore.

OH man. And this after Bush v. Gore? Obama is in deep doodoo. Strike that. Obama doesn’t care. This country is in deep doodoo.
