Read my post #5 on this thread.
BEST BUY and PROCTER & GAMBLE are financing the left wing loons over at MSNBC. Don’t shop BB and P&G. As for WalMart, they are for ObamaCare so they can foist the health care of their employees on hard working taxpayers.

This fake astroturf “boycot” of Beck will blow up in their faces. Beck’s ratings are through the roof since the “boycot” was launched. This is more BS coming straight down from the Obama White House, Axelrod, and Emanuel.

Wouldn’t pulling existing ads to avoid controversy oxymoronish? After all, by backing out, they’ve chosen sides!

I sent them an email with my Perfect Fit number last night. After I spend this last rewards certificate, they won’t see from me again.
They can look up my Perfect Fit number and see that I spent more than all of the Astroturf boycotters combined.

I never quite understood the claims of success by the boycotters since cable buys are usually made by local businesses of their local cable affiliates and national buys are general time blocks (daytime, primetime, early access and late access). Specific show buys don’t exist, that I know of.

In addition P&G said they would be "restricting our advertising to daytime lineups" in an attempt to "avoid controversy". While Sargento, whose brand-destruction by its own public relations reps has been well-documented here, has now said they will also be yanking ads from MSNBC and CNN "talk personalities" as soon as it can be "arranged".Sounds like they are pulling support from talk shows, just noting that they hadn't been Beck adverisers in the past.
"I didn't do it, but it sounds like a good idea that I should've been implemented all along and I arrived at it TOTALLY apart from this controversy."

If they advertise during The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, SeeBS Evening News, The View, Good Morning America, Today, et al, then they are STILL advertising during partisan “talk personality” shows.

... has now said they will also be yanking ads from MSNBC and CNN "talk personalities" as soon as it can be "arranged". Great work, Color of Change, you are killing the struggling shows like Hardball, Ed Show, Anderson Cooper 180, and Maddow, in addition to the once-strong brands such as Olbermann, which is now hemorraging viewers, by yanking their few high-paying advertisers away from them. Every cloud has a silver lining...

Frankly if P&G and Best buy are so stupid as to advertise during Ed, which gets 414k viewers, and skip Beck which gets 2.5 MILLION viewers, then they will be hearing from their shareholders soon enough.
It's probably because they can get advertisement air time for $1.95/minute on that show.

During the Heinz dust-up, I discovered Trader Joe’s sold a private label ketchup that is much tastier than both Heinz and Hunt’s.
