Jim, when are you going to let us $/day members tell the others all the top secret benefits we get? It’s kinda like a catch-22. You can’t know the benefits unless you are a member and because they’re top secret, you can’t blab about them to other.

To: Jim Robinson; All

Freepers,

I signed up on FreeRepublic on 8/1/08. I became a monthly donor in 10/2008 after two short months of membership because I recognized the valuable conservative platform that is FreeRepublic. Even if you can do only $10/month, do it. You won’t miss the money. It’s the cost of one workday lunch. One! Would you give up one lunch in trade for the ability to influence the political conversation on a national level? Of course you would! So do it. Make that small commitment today.

National talking heads read the articles and comments posted on FreeRepublic to gauge the conservative consensus on some of today’s most important issues. We are the leading conservative website. Let’s make sure JimRom has the resources he needs to continue providing this valuable and necessary platform. Rupert Murdoch recently announced that Fox News will begin charging fees for access to their online news. Many freepers replied that they wouldn’t pay to access Fox News. Let’s not put JimRob in the position of having to make such a decision for FreeRepublic. We cannot compete with the financial resources of Fox News, yet we have the power to directly influence the national conservative political discussion. $10-20 a month is a small price to pay for that ability.

Please sign up to be a monthly donor.

Regards,
Tex
