Thanks for the ping. My post was so long ago, that TTG found it before I had even started searching.

What folks seem to miss is the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" factor. There is no reason that Saddam et. al. wouldn't join forces with NAZI's to strike America. The Arabs did fight for the Axis in WW2 after all.
