Here is a picture of a statue of St.Roch and the dog which is located in the chapel of the New Orleans cemetery that bears his name. I don't know if it's a copy of the one Schlau did, but I thought that you might be interested in seeing it.

I sometimes think that guardian angels at times show up as dogs.
