Ben Cardozo was of Portuguese Jewish descent. So he technically wasnt hispanic. He was Lusitanian. Just like brazilians arent hispanic. Cuz that would imply Spanish descent. Tell any person of portuguese extraction that hes “Hispanic” (Spanish), and they generally dont appreciate it.
