The crowning moment has to be when Bishop baldly states that the Constitution exists to “provide for the common good”.
To say the least, they don’t get away with it.
The man is an unbelievable caricature of an arrogant liberal. He just oozes condescension throughout. This must be the first time he has ever had an unscripted gathering.
Yeah, I saw Part 2 and the people weren’t buying “the common good” at all. It was a nice try on Bishop’s part, but no dice.
I knew Tim back when he was beginning admissions counselor for the University where I was a professor (about 1973 or so). Now he’s Provost at Southampton College of Long Island Univ. He seemed nice enough then, but obviously smarter than he appeared.
