I’m reserving judgment on this issue. That doesn’t mean it’s cr*p. It’s just that at this point, we don’t know the truth of it. Surely the truth matters, though? Or are you another one of those people who thinks the Constitution should just be brushed aside when an inconvenient issue is raised? Sure, this is controversial, but I DO in fact value the Constitution, including the provisions for who should be President. If this man turns out to be ineligible, he should be removed—and jailed.

But I want to see some proof. I have to show id when simply cashing a check. Why shouldn’t HE show some proof of eligibility for holding the highest office in the country? If he’s legit, why HAVEN’T we seen that proof?

And, slightly astray of the topic, why on earth don’t we require this proof BEFORE they are allowed to run for President?

There's a movement to correct that problem. It's being done at the state level, and a handful of states are already going down that road.

And, what if we get (which will never happen) irrefutable, guaranteed, authentic PROOF that he's an illegal alien...what do you think will happen? I'll tell you what will happen: NOTHING! This issue will go nowhere in this Congress nor will any legal challenge be heard by the soon-to-be Sotomayor-added Supreme Court. Therefore it is and will remain a dead horse...so why keep beating it?

“”I’m reserving judgment on this issue. That doesn’t mean it’s cr*p.””

I’m with you. Risking offending some here but I think most of those posting telling us we’re acting “stupidly”, are men! Women are able to handle more than one thing at a time. My time is spent on a variety of issues going on in this country. Sure - I’m at the computer most of my waking hours but that’s how much I want to see an end to the obuma corruption machine!

“why on earth don’t we require this proof BEFORE they are allowed to run for President?” You’d think?

However, the Zero did show his Hawaii copy, and being the intelligent, college educated intellectuals that they are, it was fine.

Now remember I am also college educated, but common sense trumps everything, and I don’t see much of that on far left.
In fact, I don’t see any.
