I replaced my '90 TownCar with a '96 Windstar van last year, as my Spotmobile. I needed some tires for it, so I looked on Craigslist. I found a guy selling his 5k Michelin X radials with the alloy wheels, from his '95. I paid him $135 (haggled from $150) for them, and he swapped them with his air wrench.
He was trading it Thursday for a Jetta diesel with the rebate as his goal. His van was in better shape than mine. He bought a Jetta for his wife two months ago, and was only buying now for the rebate money. OPM, ya' know! But, Spot doesn't care about condition. He just wants to go run!
