The several states are lining up to reclaim their sovereignty and telling the federal government to butt out. This is being done in myriad ways but all are related in that most claim that the Tenth Amendment protects the states from federal tyranny. States are passing resolutions, memorials and two states have passed laws and they intend to apply those laws for their citizens. The two states are Montana and Tennessee.

It was expected that at some point these laws would be challenged and it appears actions to do such has begun. The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has published open letters to federal firearms license holders in Montana and Tennessee explaining that federal law trumps state law when it comes to gun laws

If these states truly do stand up to the Feds, watch for mass immigration by die-hard conservatives like myself.

Nothing Hussein would like more than to stir up something and have another Tim McVeigh rush in to rescue his presidency.

Great men like Sam Houston and Davey Crockett once came from Tennessee to assist the great nation of Texas. I suppose we owe them.

I’m in.

I heard a radio interview with Randy Terrill - Oklahoma State Rep. He has introduced a bill to place a measure on the ballot in 2010 to make English the official language in Oklahoma. Our Attorney General received a letter from attorney general Holder threatening to with hold federal funds if it passes. Our state legislators are pissed to say the least!

holder and buckwheat can go pound sand! If it was up to me, I’d dig up and cut every road in the state that accesses a federal facility (office, military base, park, etc) and tell the feds to kiss my ass!.....red

They can come and get my guns any time. Unfortunately, I was out in my canoe on lake Pend O’reille with all my guns and the canoe capsized in the deepest part of the lake; like 1100 feet deep. I lost every single one of them. Darn!

Just with hold the funds first, why send D.C. tax money to get only 73 to 92 % back, never made sense to me.

The gov't cannot function without tax revenue.

While the ATF is citing federal law they should also cite Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution that lists all the powers granted to Congress by the Constitution. No where in Article 1 Section 8 is it listed that Congress has the power to create a federal police force including the ATF. The ATF is unconstitutional.

From the day Obama was elected, the people rushed to stores buying up guns and ammunition at unprecedented rates. With the combination of a new president and staff known to want to ban gun and gun sales and the District of Columbia vs. Heller ruling, it has helped spur more laws to relax gun restrictions. This, I am positive, angers the Obama administration.

Angers? The Bammie administration is figuratively bleeding from their ears.

When The Øne blinked and “stupidly” announced in front of national news cameras that “there was no need to run out and buy guns” EVERYONE knew exactly what to do.

Run out and buy several guns and as much ammo as was (and is) on the shelves. Keep right on buying guns and ammo until The Øne is back in his hole in Chicago.

That is exacty what is occurring and there is not a damn thing The Øne can do about it.

Except perhaps get in front of the cameras on nearly a daily basis and lie like Bagdad Bob… oh, wait, that is exactly what he is doing as we type and read.

He wants to stir things up enough where he can declare martial law, suspend the Constitution and become supreme leader.

He will do whatever it takes to taunt someone into doing something he feels merits taking charge. I think he is in for a surprise as I believe it will start in his beloved “Rat” Big Blue Cities. Chicago, Detroit, LA, or NYC.

Gunner

And that's when the civil war will start.

>>Fed's got the nukes. So yeah this could get REALLY ugly.<<

I agree that this is going to get ugly; but nukes? What exactly would be the purpose of turning your own country into a radioactive parking lot? It's not like there would be anyone left to push around, or make speeches to, or wield power.

The Feds won't back off. They will send in tanks if they have to.
