Waste of time.Ann is a smart girl. She has what *she* believes to be good reasons for her statements regarding the birth of Hussein. I doubt that she really believes what she is saying. Most of the figures on the right that are calling doubters "fringe" and "kook" have their own agenda(s). Learning the truth about Hussein is not it.
Personally, I think a number of the prominent figures on the right that are speaking out on BO's behalf are more concerned with the potential catastrophic effects should there be widely accepted skepticism about his eligibility. While I'm sure some consider the matter settled, others have doubts but are afraid of the consequences.
IOW, better an ineligible President than a civil war. Let's just not turn over this rock.

It changes none of my opinions, but does certainly call into question the Hawaiian records and their care and especially the “staff” statements.
The passport intrusion and death of a witness who was helping the authorities, seems not to have been solved or a murderer caught.
I bet this information makes it's way into history books as this story is retold.

Anyone (including terrorists) could fake the same blank form with Photoshop and put their own name on it. A month ago Hawaii didn’t accept it as a legal birth certificate apparently.
There are several legal areas (involving ethnic quotas and subsidy) for which the state of Hawaii up until June 2009 did not accept its computer-generated Certification of Live Birth as sufficient proof of birth in Hawaii or parentage.
Why should the citizens of the United States be content with lower standards for ascertaining the qualifications of their President?

The irresponsible confirmation in the Senate of the irresponsible tallying of votes in the Electoral College does not supersede the clear meaning of Article II, Section 1.
If it is allowed to stand, disregard of the Constitution by all branches of the government would be openly established. To all who believe that the Constitution is the government’s basic law, that the Constitution is the only instrument that gives the enactments of Congress and the commands of the Executive validity, it will be clear that the rule of law in the United States is a fiction.
This sums up why this issue is not "dead", "irrelevant", "fringe" or "crank."
Sadly, disregard of the Constitution by all branches of the government is already openly established. And, the rule of law in the US is a fiction a la a Chrysler, GM, AIG, etc....
