“Militant Muslim warns Royal wedding terror attack is ‘highly likely’”
By DAILY MAIL REPORTER
Last updated at 2:40 PM on 1st April 2011

SNIPPET: “Firebrand cleric Anjem Choudary has warned that a terror attack is ‘highly likely’ at the Royal wedding.

The hate preacher has told all Muslims to stay away from Westminster Abbey on April 29, describing it as ‘a prime target’.

Choudary has also been preaching to followers of the hate group, Muslims Against Crusades, and is backing its plan for a ‘forceful demonstration’ at the wedding.

Choudary said: ‘All Muslims should stay away from the public gatherings like the Royal wedding and the Olympics because there is a very high likelihood of an attack.

‘Prime targets most probably would be public gatherings like that, so I think Muslims in general should stay away to avoid injury.”

Terrorists Might Try WMD Strike at London Olympics: Risk Report
Wednesday, April 13, 2011

SNIPPET: “A recent threat analysis says that terrorists might attempt to use an unconventional weapon against the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the London Independent reported on Sunday (see GSN, March 23, 2010).

The British government’s security plan for the games warns of strikes involving “chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear substances.” It characterizes the Olympics as “an appealing target” and warns that attacks on the transit system are among “the more likely to be attempted.”

Another assessment issued this month by the consulting firm Executive Analysis warns it is “highly likely” that Islamic militants would attempt to carry out acts of terrorism during the games. However, actual sporting events are less likely to be hit than “soft targets” including shopping malls, bars and transit operations, the report says.”
