So how is it that a newspaper birth announcement one week after his birth ‘means nothing’?
That's what I thought too. That was, until someone pointed out to me that the announcement came from the HI Bureau of Vital records. It wasn't a paid announcement that some newspapers had back then and even today. My own grandmother paid for announcement in my dad's hometown newspaper. But, it wasn't reported in the vital-records section like Obama's is. It's pretty compelling.
There's something on the BC he doesn't want getting out, but I'm no longer sure it's his actual place of birth.
