Now Boxer Is In Trouble? ( Sen. Boxer-CA )

The latest Rasmussen Reports poll shows Senator Barbara Boxer leading her relatively unknown opponent, former Hewlett-Packer Hewlett-Packard (you'd think I'd have looked at my printer 20 inches away . . .) CEO Carly Fiorina, by only four points, 45%-41%. Boxer has never been terribly popular in the Golden State, but given the conditions Democrats have enjoyed the past few years, it is surprising to see her in Elizabeth Dole 2007 territory (though in a much more Democratic state).
Poll after poll shows incumbents once thought to be safe in pretty dangerous territory. These are the dangers of being in charge in the present economy, I guess.

Of all the disappointments I’ve endured in my many years of following politics the loss of Bruce Herschensohn to the loathsome Barbara Boxer hurts the most.
Bruce had everything that Babs lacks. He was intelligent, articulate, well informed and had class.

Isnt Fiorina the CEO who drove HP into the ground, which then had to subsequently be rescued emergency-style by the next CEO?Yes. And before that she trashed Lucent, a relatively "new" technology company that grew out of Bell Telephone Laboratories.

Plus she's almost as obnoxious as Boxer. She's no conservative, but not quite a national socialist like Boxer.

California is only 40% white, therefore, the Liberal will win virtually every statewide race.

“California is only 40% white, therefore, the Liberal will win virtually every statewide race.”
I realize you are new ‘round here;
so I will be a nice...BUT that has to be the dumbest and most racist remark I've read all week.
I don't know where you live, genius, but there are more CONSERVATIVES of color in CA including Asians, Hispanics and Blacks than any other state in the Union ...
I suggest you keep your racist remarks to yourself and let people think you a fool than to post them and remove all doubt!

Oh, we've got a HUGE hurdle to overcome...
“but” Boxer is definitely vulnerable and “can be beaten!”
we just need a very STRONG conservative candidate!

Boxer was uglier and more bitter in victory than anyone I’ve ever seen in defeat.

Now that would be good to rid the Senate of the one who dislikes being referred to as “Ma'am”
To: kellynla
Uh, how on earth is my remark racist?
Notwithstanding the political leanings of minorities, they vote for Democrats in an overwhelming manner.
The reason why a true conservative republican cannot win a major statewide race is simply because of demographics.
If you choose to live your life with your head in the sand, be my guest, but I suggest you withhold your defamatory name-calling to yourself.
