My wife who is a well known Neurologist is bouncing off the walls in anger right now. She is furious about the fee schedule remarks. She knows no MD who supports the TOTUS. Today almost everyone of her patients (she saw 25) commented on this and were opposed. She states that there are no MDs that see patients that would support this. Those that do are career bureaucrats that don't see patients and are clueless as to what is involved in the practice of medicine.

That's important information - imho, doctors like your wife should get together and get media attention - even if it is only taking out a newspaper ad. This whole dog and pony show is utterly ridiculous.

The bottom line is, with an aging demographic, this “health care bill” will destroy the medical profession as we know it when we, as a country, need good medical care the most. Who in their right mind would go into the medical profession under this stupid a$$ plan?
