McCain says 'no' to potential DOJ torture probe [but says "we all know bad things were done"]

"No. I fought against waterboarding," the Arizona Republican said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "I have spoken out as forcibly as possible everywhere against what went on. It harms our image so much around the world when photographs come out. We all know bad things were done. We all know the operators were under orders to do so… I agree with the president of the United States it's time to move on, and not look back."

WOW... idiots so what will they say when thousands more Americans lay dead in the streets? One thing is certainly sure they can never say “We did everything in our power to stop this atrocity from happening”

Anythig you can do to a guy 187 times can hardly be called torutre...beating his balls off, a one time occurance, is torture...and something we should have done cheerfully to any of the “religion of peace” combatants...in the future, we should simply adopt a take no prisoners attitude, then they won’t be “seeing us in NYC with my lawyer”...good grief...

Does anyone really beieve Obama wants to drop this and move on?

He is the instigator behind the whole thing, but he shifts the blame off to others. He wants to take the pressure off the way he is going about destroying America by hiding behind a BS investigation of former government workers.

He knows how to keep us P.O.’d at him.

He never lets us recover from last irritating thing he said - he just rubs salt into the wounds he created everytime he opens his mouth.

“WOW... idiots so what will they say when thousands more Americans lay dead in the streets?”

If the planes struck lower down and if not for the integrity of the buildings, we would have EASILY lost 30-40,000 men, women, and innocent children that day...and possibly more...more than 50,000 people worked in the Twin Towers every day...

We all know bad things were done.

I have had about enough of McCain, if/when another attack happens
I will hold him responsible for the event. He should be voted out of all
political positions, and should only be ushered into retirement. Sick old bassturd.

“Bad things were done”? Oh really! To the terrorists?

What about Daniel Pearl? Now I don’t know much about Daniel Pearl, but I do know he was an American, and was one of the first Americans beheaded after the Twin Tower Attacks. I have read reports from those brave enough to watch the video of Daniel’s murder, and some who only could manage to listen to it, and the listening was unbearable. I know better than to see or hear it. Just imagining the horror is bad enough.

Yet you never hear mention of Daniel Pearl anymore, not for many years. What happened to him should be brought up frequently when terrorist coddlers are around. Having your head slowly sawed off by a dull blade is about as bad as a death gets.

Last year an islamic TV station owner on the east coast, beheaded his own wife right here on American soil. What happened to him? That barely made the news. Yet we get 2 weeks of Michael Jackson worship? WTH??? Al Sharpton wants a US postal stamp for MJ and a national day of mourning? Really. Isn’t someone like Daniel more deserving of our thoughts?

The harsh reality of what happened to Daniel sure makes you get right to the point of the war on terror. It should be to kill as many terrorists as you can. Period.

To cure the problem of what to do with captured terrorists, how about we don’t capture them. We do the SSS rule on the battlefield. Anti-interrogation guys like McCain say info from so-called torture is no good anyway, so why capture them at all? Send them to the 72 virgins through the express lane.
