There has been a punk rocker type of hair salon next to my office for the past 8 years.
All of the employees and their clients are covered from head to toe with tattoos and body piercings. It has been a very robust business all these years. They had nearly a dozen stylists working at a time, charging $40 for just a haircut.
This hair salon has constantly held anti-republican\pro-liberal fund-raisers. For example, during the 2004 election they had a "wax a Bush for Kerry" promotion. There would usually be some disrespectful effigy of Bush in front of their window.
Yesterday I saw a stack of boxes outside their office and went inside to inquire if they were moving.
One downtrotted body-pierced guy told me "no man, we're out of business. We tried all we could to survive, but these last 3 months have been brutal. We just couldn't go on anymore." Offering him my sincere condolences I told him "I'm really sorry. It's sad to see you go. I guess the Bush Boom economy is truly over now"

Oh I love it—I guess the Bush boom economy is over now!! Great line. We all need to say it more often. My LIB relatives keep saying all is Bush’s fault. They believe in glaobal warming too. I tell them to tell that to the dinosaurs. They hate that line.

I contend that every liberal article of faith is built upon a contradiction.
The contradiction in getting bent out of shape over the extinction of species is that if all the varied species "evolved" in the first place through the magical combination of chance and time, then whose to say the same results may not pop up again in the future?
Just tell evolutionists they have to learn to be patient.

I know a few Obamabots who’ve been hit by the Zero-conomy. I’ve said to them, “You got your CHANGE, HOPE you’re happy!”

I would have given them a couple of pennies and said “I’d give more but after President Obama’s hope and change, change is all that I have. Good luck!”
I miss Bush already.
