During the election, despite having been portrayed as America's first post-racial candidate, Barack Obama actually represented the complete opposite. With astonishing cunning and guile, a type that his opponents could have never imagined possible, Obama and his campaign unabashedly and tenaciously used race to goad Americans into believing that voting for him would right the wrongs of America's racial history.
Obama audaciously rode on the coattails of black America's historical circumstances in order to win the presidency. He deceived the nation into believing that he too was a "typical black person" and that a vote for him would offer a (painless) way for paying back all that whites had done to blacks and their ancestors. However, as one writer put it, "[Obama] steps into the benefits of black progress (like Harvard Law School) without having borne any of the burdens". By polluting the election with the foul stench of payback politics, and by dumbing-down the "black experience" for the historically ignorant and apathetic, Barack Obama was able to win what I call the Reparations vote.
But possessing the African coloanial mentality that he does, Barack Obama knew better. Indeed, with all due respect to the late Alex Haley, his national best selling book Roots: The Saga of an American Family does not tell the story of every person of African descent who lives in this country. Obama was perfectly aware of this -- but to win the election, he played the fool.
I speak candidly about all of this because of one very inconvenient truth about myself. I am a direct descendant of West African slave-traders. How many white men died in the war to free the slaves? Shouldn’t their descendants receive reparations as well?
The irony is that Obama’s election has probably done much more to re-kindle racisim than to extinguish it.

No doubt. I hear anecdotes all the time from whites who complain about having to deal with antagonistic blacks in government, in business, while standing in line in the supermarket—all over.
I predict that will subside when Hussein’s economic catastrophe hits poor people, minorities included, harder than anyone in the coming months. Blacks will, in private anyway, rue the day they ever heard of him.
The white boys who enlisted to fight, on both sides, couldn’t give a rats a$$ about slavery. They enlisted to fight over state’s rights and who would have sovereignty in their localities, the federal government or the state government. It was just by happenstance that the issue of the right to own slaves was wrapped up in there somehow. And thank G-d it was advantageous for Lincoln to tell the South they had to free their slaves. Who knows if slavery would have persisted another 50 years without that war.
Anyone who allows Obama to drive them into racism, was already a racist to begin with.
Technically Obama is more Arab than anything else.

That just isn't so. My ancesters were anabaptists from southern Pennsylvania. They had been abolitionists for half a century. They ignored their pacificism for a greater moral cause and left their farms to march south. It was a communal decision but, to a man, they went. Slavery was the only reason.

In the South during Lyndon Johnson’s reign, we used to say that Lincoln’s promise of forty acres and a mule had been amended to “a quarter acre and a Roto-tiller”.
Describing Obama as having an African colonial mentality almost gets it. I believe what is meant is an `African post-colonial mentality’; that is, “you oppressed us and simply freeing us is not enough. You owe us big time, Mr. Charlie, we’re entitled.”
Race relations in this country are quickly being set back forty if not fifty years. Watch for demands for reparations to heat up.
Oh, and Michael Jackson was a black phenomenon who was only “shared” with the rest of us who are not black.
It would be interesting if there was a statistic showing what percentage of ‘rebel’ soldiers families owned slaves. I think that would be very revealing.
During 2007-2008, town hall meetings were held with the ones who had what the lawyers considered legitimate cause and told them the letters they held in their hands would not be honored UNLESS Barack Hussein Obama was elected president.

This is another part of the ACORN and the NCCAP to get Obama elected and destroy this country. They're doing the very thing they set out to do. While Americans slept, the Marxist worked diligently to destroy us from within. As we wake-up from our slumber barely hanging on.... will we let them complete their plans or do we stop the insanity?
