I wanted to share with you something that I did over the weekend with the laptop.

Some of you may have HP applications on your computer and may have had a problem.

Over the last several weeks we encountered a problem with our computer opening up slowly.

It turned out the problem was with an HP application.

"The HP CUE Device Delivery service hung on starting."

Here is how to fix the problem. Go to the start tab and then click on Control Panel.

Then, click on Performance and Maintenance, Then Administrtive Tools.

Then, click on Services and open.

Look for "HP CUE Device Delivery Service. Turn off the service and set the startup type to "Disabled".

This was what I did Saturday morning and now the computer is starting up much faster.

Thanks for the advice. I looked for that service in my “services” menu and it wasn’t there. Do you have to
have an HP computer for that service to be on the list?
