They should be promoting their own issues and candidates and making sure the congregations know what and who is evil.
Right now you have "catholic" congressmen and legislators who are babykillers. All they've done is steal the Catholic vote, while promoting socialism and stabbing the faithful in the back.
Churches were all tax exempt until around 1916 and they should be now. They should be required to pay for public services such as fire protection and street maintainence, but not required to support the atheist public schools as many churches in fact host their own educational facilities.
that churches to have a tax exempt status should not be in the business of politics.
Why not? The Constitution doesn't say that. They should have complete freedom of speech.
The 1st amendment prohibits the government from establishing an official church, like the Church of England, or the Roman Catholic Church (Church of the United States)
The only non-profits who should be silenced politically are those who simply, secretly and soley suck tax dollars out of government budgets, such as "social service providers" hiding in DHHS and "education" budgets...Of course they are bristling with democrat activists at election time.
Otherwise the dem party will become a church tomorrow.
She did not say that!
Ever heard of the Universalist Unitarian Church, or Black Liberation Theology? There must be hundreds of them disguised as churches.
Here is that link to Rush’s three minute video:

And those paying to see her at fundraisers will demand to know her solutions to our problems such as energy...of which she is extremely qualified to address.
She will be paid to bash Obama. What a country !
I smile when I think of the democratic hounds in Alaska that must have been so proud of the trouble they've created for Sarah....think again, scumbag, it's comin' back at ya'. In spades! They may have forced the unleashing of Sarah on the national stage.
As for national office...time will tell if America wants her or not. I say they do.
Any criticisms of lack of depth, or inexperience means nothing. I trust her--not only to find people to help her make the right decisions--but I just trust her to make the final call. (I trusted W too, but he had too many local businessman in his ear 24/7 who were looking for cheap labor from Mexico)

If you graciously forgive me and allow me to stay, I promise never to post disruptive, irrational drivel materially similar in content, form, grammar or syntax to the following:
I have a job for you (name) something you can do well. Go find someone who is old enough to use scissors or a razor knife and cut out a cardboard computer screen and keyboard. Then draw in the keys and type as fast as you can "I am a troll and will not bother people on FR anymore."
Do it about a thousand times and maybe you will get it.
Having finally gotten to the end of this thread
after being gone all afternoon, Cedric, your posts
stick out like a sore thumb for their childish
baiting and taunting of rodguy. It’s so obvious,
especially when one comes in long afterward and
reads the thread in total.
It’s childish and ridiculous and sullies this
long-standing discussion thread at FR.
Let it go. Please just stop it.
Just for the record the beautiful de Tocqueville quote appears to be completely spurious. The polite way of saying this is that ‘it has been attributed’ to de Tocqueville, but does not appear in ‘Democracy in America’ or any known de Tocqueville text.
But, here is the accurate genesis of the unwarranted, provocational and smarmy attack launched against me for having expressed my opinion, as is MY RIGHT to do.
#138: (Cedric) Rove couldnt do ANYTHING unless and until someone hired him!
#152: (rodguy911) There you go getting crazy again. You know yo are not supposed to post to me so dont do it again. Now go back under the bridge and dont come out until the adults are through posting.
Now, madam, whose was the first "childish and ridiculous" post?
Who first stepped outside the bounds of discussing issues to sully this thread with a (forbidden) personal attack?
Go back and really read the thread "in total" this time.
I'll be awaiting your public apology.
I apologize to all for muddying
this great thread with my personal
aggravation on some long-standing
Talkshow thread fractiousness and
childishness that I think disrupts
some great insight, commentary and
political research on the thread
and reflects poorly on FR.
I’m afraid my post contributed to
that, and I’m sorry.
Research reveals the particulars, and
Ill handle it off thread.
No apology ever necessary by you Star. We have a huge troll problem on FR and this thread is just another that is infected by the same troll over and over.
Hence, your non-apolgy is, hereby,
