The key for her (and any small govt person) to remember is that they are going to rake her over the coals NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES in the MSM.
So her decisions should never be based on turning the MEDIA around. They are going to try to spin this has her quitting and not capable. But if she stayed, she would be attacked as crazy, corrupt, stupid etc etc.
She is making a tactical gamble that it is better for her to be in the national arena to combat the attacks vs staying in Alaska and being tied down. She gains “experience” but gets bashed like a pinada while she gains it.
She picked not being a pinada.
Very well said. You nailed it! One thing about Sarah is that she will never change for the media. What you see is what you get which is what we need instead of all the spin we usually get from candidates.
Sarah is not Ivy League or from the East Cosst which IMHO puts her at the top. She shares another thing with President Reagan — Journalism.
Her announcement made this 4th of July a whole lot better.
I think it is safe to say that the anti-Palin element in this thread are under the age of 40. Or maybe even 50. Brainwashed all. No wonder we are where we are in America today!
But she won't have to deal with all the ethics complaints and lawsuits. As a private citizen, she has much more freedom of speech.
Sarah takes her responsibilities seriously and realized she had to make an important choice right now.
Finishing her term as Governor would prevent her from being the national leader conservatives desperately need RIGHT NOW.
Obama, like Reagan, proved experience is not the real centerpiece of winning the White House.
Having a strategic vision that captures the people's imagination is what wins a presidential election.
Palin has acres of charisma and that is the true power of a candidate.
