I will not support Mitt for any office. He is a liberal.

He is old news and could not get elected to any office. We know what his views are and they are not conservative by any means. Who in the heck is Daniels?

Yup, socons simply won’t vote for the man, even though he is correct about efficiency’s (drug war) and safety (prostitution)

I agree with him on the drug war, disagree with him on prostitution.

Daniels is the Governor of Indiana. He’s done nothing for the IN GOP.

So is a Pratt from his male line or one of the wives of a male ancestor?

Mitt's grandmother, Amelia Pratt, married Gaskell Romney -- thus merging the Pratt & Romney families. Amelia's grandfather was Parley P. Pratt thru Helaman Pratt, the son of Parley P.'s 4th wife.

(Amelia was the first-born of Helaman's 2nd wife).

So that means still no Romney men, I knew that people they marry bring other family history into the mix.

You forgot John McCain, one last gift to the old warrior, one more battle. Just about as likely as back stabbing, flip flopping Romey. Run Romey and I sit out ANOTHER election.

You underestimate both Governors Palin and Barbour.

This is an absolutely amazing thought that You’re the first person I’ve seen to really put this into stark terms that needs to be said.

My hunch is that Romney get’s it, but he’s trying to stay palatable for the largest number of people, i.e. to get elected. Newt can be more radical in his declarations because he isn’t terribly convinced he’d be able to win. Romney is.

Romney couldn’t win the nomination against McCain, fer cryin’ out loud.

Daniels just got reelected by a landslide. At least he’s fiscally conservative and he doesn’t give in when the press calls him names. I don’t see him ever pulling a W and passing a stimulus “even though it goes against everything we stand for.”

Daniels and Palin are probably the only people that would entice me to vote for the Republican party ever again. Although the specter of 0bama’s second and third terms looms large and terrifying. And yes, I said “third.”

Ann Romney has gained too much wgt. She is a very pretty lady with all the time and money she needs. Why did she let herself go?

These guys cling to that little out of context piece of a 1975 interview by libertarians of Reagan, like it is the only thing to cling to.

It is, the rest of the quote and the interview moves Reagan away from the libertarians that were interviewing him that day in 1975.
