Don’t fool yourself. Helen was not just representing herself. Knowing that he wouldn’t dare attack an older seasoned journalist, she was selected by the committee, who agreed to back her up with one younger male.
The press corp is ticked.

Look, Helen needs to just shut up and print whatever gems of divine insight Obama grants her. Isn’t that the media’s role these days?

The press corp is ticked.

They sure should be. I'll bet they were all expecting a return to the clinton days, when there were parties at least once a week, with free drinks and ord'oeuvres on the taxpayer's dime, and a constant stream of Hollywood starlets and Georgetown hostesses circulating among them.

Then Bush moved into the White House and the celebrity parties for the press were over. But at least Bush always treated them politely.

Obama treats them like the dirt on the soles of his shoes. He prearranges the questions and the questioners, he excludes them from all the parties, he won't give them the time of day except when he invites one network or another in for an arranged photo-op, and he makes it clear that he is The One and they are peons whose only purpose in life is to serve him and lick his toes.

Even a liberal could get mad about that, after a few years of such treatment.

The press corp is ticked. The press corp is ticked.

It is good they are ticked, isn't’t it?!

Usually when 0bama is around, at the sound of his voice, the press roll over on their backs and expose their soft bellies - either to show they mean no harm or to have their bellies petted.

The Press...usually worse than useless....
