The other poster was arguing that Romney’s religion made it impossible for him to hold a pro choice view. Seeing as he’s always been Mormon, I’d have thought he would have always been pro life. Not so, eh? Doesn’t compute.
Here is a choppy video showing pieces of the interview that Romney did with Jan Michelson saying that the Mormon religion is not pro-life.
The full 20 minute video is a blast to watch but youtube does a pretty quick job of taking it down when ever it gets posted, Mitt does fine when on the air but every time they go to commercial Mitt goes wacko and spews a lot of truth about himself and his religion. (A camera is filming the radio interview)
Slick Willard wants to destroy the conservative movement from within.
Romney himself created a phony scene claiming that in late 2004 in conversation with a researcher, that the proabortion Romney suddenly had an epiphany and became anti-abortion, Romney announced that and started campaigning on his new pro-life status in 2005. The researcher says that it never happened.
You know how much that filled my heart.

I need to ask all the Romney haters what they think of Cheney. When Cheney goes after Obama most on this site act like he is the conservative messiah. I asked them why and they claimed because finally someone is going after Obama. I am thrilled with neither Cheney or Romney.

1) It reminds me that the pro-life movement has become pro-single Mom. Like Bush calling single Mom's heros and giving them special tax credits for having babies. Its the 1990s welfare reform going pro-single Mom. It seems like a moral movement gone wrong.:"Goodbye two parent families, we stand for more babies"
2) For someone who so many groupies think is the next Reagan ,Palin’s major win on liberals is not on the issues, it was getting Letterman to apologize about his single daughter sex joke. The groupies went wild over it , “She got Letterman to back down. Our hero!” This is very bad to have as a major news theme. It's the whole “I'm a victim” theme, very misguided. We need someone who beats them on issues NOT on repelling personal attacks by stand up comics. It's like if Hillary said “Jay Leno attacked me as first Lady, so I am ready to be president”. But she didn't. She did the Senator thing first getting her name on a number of bills and issues nationally.
3) It looks like IMMORAL Clintons were somehow able to teach Chelsi that being a young single Mom is NOT ideal. "Why didnt they teach Chelsi to have babies and drop out of college?" This is so ironic but the groupies cant see how this would kill Palin in a general election, blind as they are. I dont blame Palin for her daughter but defending it negates any standing on moral issues to be used as an election theme against democrats except among the hardcore.

Not exactly. I don't consider MY personal feelings of what I want having much relevance on who gets elected. I am anticipating the general public’s reaction.
Just like in tried to warn freepers in January 2007 that Bush /Cheney would doom 2008 election (and McCain later in 2008.) I was scoffed at then too by freepers. I was told by them that congress approval ratings were so low that means republicans would win in 2008(talk radio was telling them this) . I tried to warn that the congress low approval ratings in 2007 and 2008 was DOOMING republicans, helping democrats. This comes from asking others THEIR opinions outside of your belief circle and using some thought. It comes from watching the other sides attacks closely.
The natural flow of things is democrats peaked with taking power this year and will decline giving republicans wins in 2010. 2012 is completely unpredictable at this point.
