Better rally the troops and make sure that he doesnt get to the second stage first.
The time this character would have spent in a second term should be spent rotting in a prison where all communist traitors belong!
As with the promise to only take above $250,000, YMMV.
Hillary Clinton (and Bill’s) attempt at a third term of Co-presidency (and she had said he would serve if he asked) was unconstitutional.
That is his job.
Pay him enough and he'll do the same thing for Che Guevara.
yeah, right.......and there is not going to be a middle class tax hike either, right?
personally, i’ll just be glad to see Christmas 2012...
No, it will be the equivalent of Hillary! when Michelle is declared our new messiahette.
He will try to pull what the Honduran president tried to pull only it will be in 2012 when he gets kicked out of office. He will find an emergency reason to hold onto power.
Memo to The Kenyan: Honduras can happen here. Oh yes, it can.
I believe it.
Rush needs to take a break. Revoking the 22nd Amendment would need a two-thirds vote in both Houses and the ratification of three-fourths of the states. Not a chance of that happening. <
Starting with the attack on 9/11 and now with a REAL Socialist in the White House...NOTHING is too weird to happen now.
And naturally neither Gibbs nor Hussein would consider lying! If this thug tries to ignore or overturn the 22nd amendment, the 2nd American revolution will begin. I doubt even Hussein is that crazy. But don’t be surprised to see “feelers” sent out by the media, should the criminal win a second vote counting spree in 2012.
Hugo Chavez promised Obama that he would advise Obama how to become President for life if Obama implemented more socialistic anti-captalistic programs.
If Obama’s first term is halfway as successful as his first half year, “Terms” will no longer be an issue.
He has already proven that the constitution can be used to justify what the government CAN do as opposed to what it CANNOT do.
In as far as legality goes, the treasury secretary by law is far more powerful than the president in unilaterally implementing policy. The act which gave him this power should be ample proof that a third term presidency is child’s play in comparison.
The wording there is very strange, as if saying BHO would support a future amendment limiting terms - ignoring the well-known fact that such a limit is current, not future.
And I'd hope he supports such an amendment - it's right there in the Constitution he swore to uphold.
If we are stupid enough to elect him to three terms we deserve to have him for three terms.
