OK, if you say so.....but just to keep it ON my POINT, I will repeat it:
“seems to me that WE ought to be taking heed, since the “election” of obama is roughly the equivalent of the wrongheadedness of the iranian people having made the takeover of iran by the ayatollah khomeini et seq possible (with the help of yimmy carter) only 30 years ago........remember, it was SAVAK that kept their own soros, ayers, farrakhans, etc suppressed and from taking control in iran.....now look what has happened!

As I said, you have every right to your opinion. I posted the thread to express my own. You are free to post a thread expressing yours.
You are also free to keep bumping this thread by posting on it...which I hope you do. I have no problem whatsoever with people seeing both sides and deciding for themselves.
But while you're at it, remember, that without others who "cared" about our own revolution over 200 years ago, namely the French who certainly had their own fat in the fire at the time, the question of our liberty against the tyrants of that day would have been much more in question.
