Within minutes, six-year-old Rubjit Thindal went from happily chatting in the back seat of the car to collapsing and dying in her father's arms.
"If we had known it was so serious, we would have called 911,'' Kuldip Thindal, Rubjit's distraught mother, said in Punjabi yesterday. "She just had a stomach ache -- she wasn't even crying.''
Rubjit was pronounced dead at hospital barely 24 hours after showing signs of a fever. Later, doctors told her parents she had the H1N1 influenza virus. She is believed to be the youngest person in Canada with the virus to have died.

It sure seems there is something unusual going on, with some people that get this virus.
My heart goes out to these parents.
You’re not kidding. The only consolation is that their daughter never really suffered.
When I go, I’d like to go that quickly.
A woman in my area died of it but she had underlying health issues. We were not given her name nor info on her health issues.
Often little ones get unexplained fevers. This is scary.
There sure is something weird about this virus.
Notice, too, that when the virus wasn’t killing people, everyone was in a tailspin about it.
Now, people are dropping like flies and by the amount of coverage it’s getting, you’d never know there was a virus that deadly and unpredictable going around.

My youngest used to get a fever whenever it got too hot out. She wasn’t sick, but just cannot tolerate the heat.
So how would I know whether she was sick or not?
Scary indeed. And it’s occuring out of normal flu season.
I read on FR that this is 4 types of virus mixed together. That’s not normal. Conspiracy theory alert! Was it remixed and reintroduced? It wasn’t killing but now it is? Lots of questions.
I have grandbabies that I worry about. They get sick easily and if one gets it, they all do.
There was a thread sometime back when the whole swine flu thing started where someone was quoted as saying that there was something, some markers of some kind, that indicated that this was an engineered virus.
They didn’t even tell hospital staff which patient it was. Nor the public. So how does one know if they’ve come into contact with it?! This is nuts!
Wait until the fall and winter when this thing mutates. It has the halmarks of another 1918 flu pandemic written all over it. Infected "HEALTHY" people will most likely be dropping like flys all over the world and could end up being stacked like cord wood. My folks lived through it and it was devistating! It happened before and it can happen again. Don't believe me, just check out what happened with the 1918 flu. The truth is this swine, avian, human flu strain is worse/more dangerous than 1918 because of it's composition. They are working on a vaccine but what will cover the globe in the fall winter will most likely mutate and the vaccine will probably be useless! Scary stuff but in all honesty, it can happen here, especially given the fact that America and the world are ripe for judgment.
Don’t ignore the role socialized medicine played in this death. If you read the article, the parents took her to the ‘clinic’ multiple times and they were given advil.
