A BOLIVIAN television news channel has been left red-faced after falling for a hoax that saw it claim pictures from the hit TV show Lost were actually the last moment of Air France flight AF447 before it plunged into the ocean on June 1.
Internet footage shows a Periodistas Asociados de Televisión (PAT) newsreader describing several shots from inside the plane as it broke in half.
The shots show passengers being sucked out of the back of the plane into midair.

Well, the short story is that electromagnetism from the Swan station on the island caused interference with the plane’s instruments.
If you’ve never watched the show, it’s just too difficult to explain.
Not all that easy if you have watched the show. I've never had a show that caused me to ask "WTF?" so often.

It appears to have been a magnetic anomaly from the year 1977 that had been contained for roughly 3 decades ... excellent plot of free will versus predestination tied together with quantum mechanics and possibly string theory with alternate realities. It is a story of redemption on both physical and metaphysical levels.
The plot has to resolve whether time travel would create potential paradoxes or merely new strings of reality. Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes (Jorge Garcia ... the 4 8 15 16 23 42 kid millionaire) is basically the audience. He asks and ponders the unanswered questions. In one scene, a time altering event has just happened in 1977. Hurley, having just gone back in time from 2007, waves his hand before his eyes to see if he is disappearing.
More than you probably ever wanted to know ;-)
