I don’t think you will see Freepers attacking her — at least not most Freepers... I know the Bots will go after her even stronger now. I see Rich Lowry alreay wrote at NRO that this all helps Romney. I sent him an email and told him his elite media group at NRO, etc., may think he is the cats meow, but in fly over country Palin looks better and better and we don’t care that she didn’t go to Harvard.

I have to admit I remain shellshocked. I still don’t know what Sanford should do. Part of me thinks he should resign, but that would leave the state in the hands of someone who is the epitome of the statist Democrat-lite RINO establishment. His first obligation is to his family. He may be in too broken a shape to complete his term, unfortunately. If he’s able to mend the damage with his family, he might be able to do so with the people of SC and conclude his term with some level of honor intact. At least he was man enough to not lie about it to our faces like a certain ex-President. The lie is worse than the sin itself.
