Domestics are always messy. I hear of many cases where the wife or girlfriend gets a protective order, then calls up the man and begs him to come over because she is lonely.

Watch for the wailing from the anti-gun crowd. Oh wait, the People’s Republic of Maryland has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country.

Rodriguez declined to name the shooter because she is a victim in the case and has not been charged.
Nice how they do this in this woman's case but not in Jerome Ersland's case.

Always hard to tell who is at fault in domestics. Usually a little of both parties, but sympathy always goes to the woman. I’ll tell you one thing, I would not want to be a cop going on a domestic dispute call. That’s gotta be the worse.

The simple solution is for the husband to file for a protective order as soon as he receives his.
Beyond the flowers, chapel, bridemaids and grooms, a wedding is entering into a business contract. Both sides had better sit down and understand exactly what they are doing before they sign on the dotted line.
Gunowners expecially have to be very careful who they enter into a relationship.

Amazing how many on this thread are knee-jerk armchair blaming the wife, but the police aren’t.

Shouldn't this read "an alleged act of self-defense"?
