Olive Garden pulls Letterman ads

Following a week of back and forth between CBS late night comic David Letterman and Sarah Palin over a crude joke he told about the Alaska Republican governor’s daughter, the Olive Garden restaurant says it is cancelling all of its scheduled ads on Letterman’s “Late Show” for the rest of the year.

Yea! Darden owns Olive Garden, Red Lobster and several more. We eat at their places often. Can't remember if Darden was one I emailed, but i think so. The list of sponsors I had was confusing and often lead to "customer complaint" with blanks to fill out about last visit, etc.

He is? My husband and I liked Leno, even if we didn’t like his political “humor” at times. We’ve really tried to listen to Conan and finally gave up. We couldn’t find the slightest funny word in the show. We can’t stand Letterman, so our TV just gets turned off earlier than it used to.

I’m reminded that I’m so tired of the trailer trash label. I’ve known many fine people who live/lived in trailers and in trailer parks. Just because people are living within their means on limited money doesn’t mean they have low standards and it’s way past time the media realized it!
