When it comes to evaluating and discussing transparency in government, one issue – and one issue alone – has been deemed out of bounds by a White House website: President Obama's continued concealment of his birth record.
As WND reported, the Obama administration's Office of Science & Technologylaunched the online forum to allow Americans to discuss ways of creating an "open government," which in turn resulted in a flood of people seeking disclosure of Obama's proof of eligibility to serve as president.
As part of the forum's rules and guidelines, posts that are obscene or reveal personal information, like Social Security numbers, are scrubbed completely, while those that are deemed off-topic are removed to a separate archive.
But a quick survey of flagged, removed and archived posts from yesterday reveals 100 percent of those yanked for being off-topic were, in fact, on the same topic.
The Open Government Initiative's online forum contains 21 entries deleted yesterday, all of them submitted to the thread on "Transparency Principles" and all of them discussing Obama's birth records, including a comment from WND's Chelsea Schilling.
One user, Jason Roberts, expressed his concerns on the forum about the White House hosting a "transparency" discussion without properly addressing the eligibility topic.
"The fact that the birth certificate issue hasn't been resolved, precludes any possible discussion of government transparency," Roberts wrote. "It is a farce to sit with hands folded and pretend to have some self-righteous discussion about government transparency when Mr. Obama is refusing to be transparent about his birth certificate, passport records, and school records. If his presidency started with his being sworn in, then the transparency must start with him willingly releasing his long-form birth certificate."

In a way I think the site hurts liberals. They post some really crazy crap for all the world to see. Deporting all the Jews, Execution of all Christians, Forced conversion of America to islam, and calling for the destruction of America to name a few.
I bookmarked the Government Open Dialogue website for further reading when I have more time. But at first glance, after reading lots of posts on the birth certificate issue, it seemed to me that many of the topics are not the proper role of the federal government, period.
Perhaps there is an ongoing role for Freepers in adding conservative (reduction of government, phasing out of departments, etc.) ideas on that site.
The other thing I noticed is that they say on their home page that they will remove obscene, inappropriate posts, posts that reveal confidential data, and “duplicative” posts. I wonder if the first edition of the home page included the criterion “duplicative.” Because that could be a justification for reducing the number of posts for a certain (unwelcome) position. Such as Obama revealing all the records he is spending so much money to conceal. The moderators could just say the posts all expressed the same idea, they were duplicative. Then it would be hard to know the quantity published on a given position.
Just a thought.

Censoring their own website is merely the first step in the 0bama plan to secure the internet and squelch further dissent. His appointment of another czar to oversee the internet is part of the plan, as well.

First off regarding the comments from the forum referencing FR which was mentioned in post #9, I say let these clowns and goonies try to come after us and take us to Alcratez kicking and screamiing. There's no way in the world we're going voluntarily.
And secondly, whether anyone likes it being said or not this issue is not going away. Like it being said or not, we have someone in the White House who is there illegally.
Finally to the clowns and goonies at CBS outdoors and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, you all are nothing but a bunch of sorry lazy miserable good for nothing clowns and goonies. I know this is a strange question, but here is it...If someone threatened the life of the President, and was subsequently charged by the Secret Service for said offense, would that person be granted “standing” to prove the President’s eligibility?
I know he has been challenged by some in the military and so far at least (I believe) the question of him being a legit CIC has NOT been allowed to be investigated.
