I'm not an O'Reilly fan but to blame him for Tiller's death is just a sorry attempt to create a martyr.
You can make a far better case that the Washington Post Co. is responsible for the death of William Long.
O'Reilly didn't lie about Tiller. WPO's Newsweek falsely reported that Korans were being flushed down toilets at Gitmo helping spread unwarranted hate against this country and our military.
If O’Reilly is responsible for Tiller’s murder, aren’t
Murtha, Pelosi, and Reid responsible for the murder of Private Jones? Where’s that article?
I stopped watching. He always seems to go out of his way to defer to obama.
For all the complaints about BOR here on FR, somebody must be watching him.
His show has been top rated for the past 8 years, and second place Hannity, is 35% behind.
I stopped watching almost all political talk show when osamaobama was selected so I can't compare the latest shows to the older versions, but BOR has always been very full of himself.
Allow me to update the first post above.

Since the author is the leader of NARAL, it would be logical for her to take on O'Reilly, however repulsive she considers him, since it's for a cause "dear to her heart". Could it be that O'Reilly is a better debater, with facts supporting his pro life stance? He buries her every time she is on the show, and he would do the same again. She is afraid of him, because he out-smarts her.
If all the pro choice groups steer clear of his show, O'Reilly has the audience all to himself, which just might be a good thing.
So did I. I just don't have the heart for it anymore.
Okay. Bill O’Reilly IS a jerk. And Chris Matthews is Mr. Conjeniality. And Keith Olbermann is just a big teddy bear. And The View hags are geishas. Right?
And Mary Alice Carr immediately wrote a column condemning Islamo-fascist murderers after the shootings in Arkansas at the recruiting office. Sure.
A few years ago he had Neal Boortz on. O'Reilly made a comment about Boortz being part of the seamy side of conservative talk radio (even though Boortz is actually a Libertarian). Boortz immediately replied with the story about O'Reilly claiming to have won an Emmy or some prestigious award when he had actually won a less-prestigious Polk award. O'Reilly went berserk and basically cut the smiling like a cheshire cat Boortz right off his show. I don't believe Neal has ever been back on again, and probably doesn't want to back on.
Didn’t one of them, on the air during that exchange, call the other a bastard?
BOR claims to be “Fair and Balanced” in his reports, so he needs a right leaning site to slam when he goes after the idiot DUmmies and KOmmies sites.
Makes me sick to think he sees this site in the same light as those, but if this is the worst conservative site he can find perhaps he needs to sit down and really think about comparing the two and being fair to his viewers.
LOL! That's like Michael Moore making a comment about Rosie O'Donnell being obese.
If you would put Glenn Beck, Rush, Andrew Wilkow, Laura Ingraham, or Mark Levin against him, Bill would lose.
I can’t remember the exact exchange, but I remember O’Reilly trying to distinguish himself from Boortz in a disparaging manner. Naturally, Boortz being Boortz, he did not take kindly to BOR’s remarks.
I guess it takes a jerk to know one. BTW, I thought last night’s O’Reilly/Miller Time segment was the funniest I’ve ever seen. O’Reilly was laughing so hard, I thought he looked like he was crying!
Excellent point, macrahanish #1.
The writer is vice president of communications for NARAL Pro-Choice New York.
That's Mary Alice Carr, the author of this article. I think I'll move onto something else...
