MSNBC’s seven signs of evolution all point to creation

by Tas Walker

In this “Year of Darwin”, to mark the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s birthday, MSNBC cable-news published an article entitled Seven signs of evolution in action. It is just one of the multitudes of articles in the media this year praising Darwin and his theory of evolution. Author John Roach presented what he describes as “indications that species evolve through process of natural selection.”

Rather than evolution, the beautifully illustrated examples demonstrate the truth of creation. Let’s see how...

I wonder what fossils they will find in the rocks on Mars? Too bad I won’t be around to see it.

That is precisely why the Temple of Darwinistic Materialism is crumbling under the weight of massive scientific falsification.

THe evolutionists are coming! THe evolutionists are coming!

By the time this surge in evolutionism subsides, what will be left of western civilization?

What do you know? Another engineer pretending to have a grasp of evolutionary biology. Who’s next? A dentist, perhaps?

The added “Creation Ministries” text is seemingly presented as part of the MSNBC text.

Not all you read from the Creation Ministries website comes from MSNBC.

Why do evos always think that adaptation within species is somehow evidence for transcendental evolution across the familial level of taxonomy?

What's ironic is that the philosophy of evolutionism (as well as that of environmentalism) rests on many of the same premises as things like sympathetic divination and astrology, which are almost uniformly rejected today as superstitious nonsense.

MSNBC itself is proof of regressive evolution...

Anyone that does a line-up of existing hominid's skeletons and photographs it to make an argument for evolution demonstrates an ignorance of Darwinian Theory.

And to say that reptiles evolved into birds is simply foolish. In both cases, Darwinian Theory points to a common ancestor. But you really don't want to know, do you? Frankly, that's kind of sad. The best way for you to undermine Darwin would be to understand his work, rather than just pooh-poohing this "Man comes descended from apes." tripe.

Tas Walker hasn’t got a clue about what he’s arguing against.

“If amoebas are going to evolve into avocados and archaeologists the organisms continually need to produce new structures. For natural selection to change a fish into an amphibian, for example, it needs to put legs on a fish. But here we see a process, a mutation that takes legs off. Mutations also remove eyes from fish. Mutations are going the wrong way.”

Mutations don’t go any particular way. They are indifferent to the outcome.

I’m more than happy to read his intelligent design posts, but I think he hamstrings himself with this kind of fluff.

“regressive evolution” = oxymoron

According to Steve Jones, in his book “Darwin’s Ghost” ...

“About a thousand genes are shared by every organism, however simple or complicated. Although their common ancestor must have lived more than a billion years ago, their shared structure can still be glimpsed.”

and ..

“One set of genes is found everywhere. It translates the information in the DNA and allows it to make proteins. The job is so essential that such structures changed little over millions of years.”
