NEW YORK: Three of four Muslim men suspected of a plot to blow up two New York synagogues and shoot down military planes were ordered to remain in jail on Thursday in what police have called home-grown terrorism. The case has shakenBronx borough where the police said the men, who had been watched for nearly a year in a sting operation, planted what they thought were bombs in cars parked outside each synagogue.
The suspects then intended to shoot down planes with guided surface-to-air missiles, but the explosives and the missiles, which had been sold to the accused plotters by an FBI informant, were deactivated, the police said.
US Judge Lisa Smith ordered James Cromitie, 55, to remain in jail along with David Williams, 28, and Onta Williams, 32. A fourth suspect, Laguerre Payen, was due to appear before the judge later. The police said the suspects had criminal records and might have converted to Islam while in prison.
If Christian Ministers came into these prisons and taught prisoners how to fight against abortion rights, gay marriage, and political correctness, they would be arrested on the spot for breaking the "wall of separation between church and state" clause in the 1st Amendment. BUT it's OK for terrorists to teach Islamic Terrorism to them. This country going to Hell in a hand basket with no possible recovery in sight.
Cultivated and recruited to Islam in prison, and probably for terrorist activity as well. So let's send those Gitmo detainees to our nation's prisons so they can continue recruiting new terrorists. Great idea Bambi.

Has anyone noticed that Obama has not thanked the FBI in thwarting this terrorist plan? Or did I miss it?
Maybe it’s time to start puttung heads on sticks with these people. Count Dracula in Romania impaled 20,000 Turks and guess what? Nobody bothered Romania for a very long time.
When is the “main attraction” is what I want to know. Every time there is a major strike it is preceded by smaller events. The assassination of the Northern Alliance leader a couple of days before 9/11 comes to mind.
There is no way blowing up a couple of synagogues is going to create the kind of stir these 4 guys were planning on.
