I’ve been a Republican for nine years. But I’m close to not being one right now.”

I’ve been a Republican for 45 years (1st vote - Goldwater 1964) never voted for a democrat.......BUT

If the Repubs don’t run an actual Republican/Conservative next time I’m voting for the Democrat on the theory that the only chance we have is for it to get so bad we have forced upon us the revolution we haven’t the stones to launch.

Can’t be worse than the Civil War-bloody tragedy, but at least the survivors had an opportunity to rebuild the country. If Obama stays in two terms without a revolution, there will not be a future......if freedom dies here, what other country can lead the way out of the new dark ages?

I have been a registered Republican since I was 18 and couldn’t wait to vote for Reagan in my first election.

I am conservative FIRST. I am going to change my registration to Independent. The GOP is a big disappointment, supporting too much “status quo” and growing gov’t, fiscal irresponsibility, UGH!!!

The Republican Party should stick to its principles of smaller government, fiscal responsibility.

I mentioned to someone that I did not feel Bush was conservative enough...typical reaction, “WHAT???? he was too conservative.” Then I reminded them of the growing deficit, NCLB with Kennedy, Medicare, etc - it was almost like a lightbulb went off in their head. Just because NPR and the MSM have told everyone that Bush was too conservative, does not make it true.
