Here's a hard choice for that old moonbat ~ they don't go here ~ no way, no how, no kind, and if she can't figure that out she can certainly find a gun somewhere in the Pentagon and just blow her brains out.

End of story.

Too bad they weren’t, the left has fed on their presence for years. As much to blame are the stupid Americans who have more concern for terrorists who would cut their heads as soon as look at them, than they do for the sons and daughters in Iraq, and their fellow countrymen.

Comrade Zero wants them OUT of Gitmo because he wants them IN the USA where his running dog lackey, Eric “the Red” Holder can use them as an experienced hit team to take care of his political enemies.

“top-chick appointee”-LOL. Good to find humor in something when our own representatives want (or have pretended to want) to release decapitating terrorists amongst the people they claim they wanted to serve. But I like the description, it fits well.

That’s a given with this slimy bunch. I wouldn’t degrade the Pentagon by associating the good men and women there, with a political hack.

OK, Michele, per your request, I just “rethought” the Gitmo issue.

I reached the same conclusion. No detainees on U.S. soil. Keep Gitmo open, it is being unfairly stigmatized. The detainees get better treatment than a lot of people in American prisons.

Thanks for bringing this back to where it started. The rats would like for America to forget 9/11.

Hmmm. When does someone who assists terrorists become a terrorist by definition herself? Ms. Flournoy should think about the label that could be applied to herself. If the Gitmo detainees are housed or released in the US, the first US citizen who is killed directly or through a jihadi attack to get the prisoners released or memorialized, will be a victim of the Obama Administration.

well....looking at the 30 yr. history of Yucca Mountain and the attempt to get anyone to accept nuke waste in their districts, I suspect they will all be meeting Allah before they set foot on US soil. Should be fun to watch though.

The Rats made GITMO a political issue instead of the National Security issue it is so they can deal with it and if a single terrorist steps foot on US soil then the Rats will also have to accept the consequences.

She’s not a “Pentagon Official”...

She is a White House Official who works at the Pentagon.

Flournoy is a member of the Aspen Strategy Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, and the Executive Board of Women in International Security. She is a former member of the Defense Policy Board and the Defense Science Board Task Force on Transformation. She was a member of the guiding coalition of the Project on National Security Reform.

If the Constitution is not amended prior to Obama bringing them here then there is a strong likeliness that a Federal Judge would order their release based on Constitutional grounds. Right now, they are still held on foreign soil and for the most part out of reach of our American non-military judicial system.

closing the stigmatized prison in Cuba will mean hard choices for everyone.

"Hard choices" is liberalspeak for "acts that Democratic politicians and bureaucrats like to pat themselves on the back for." Like raising taxes. Actual hard choices, like cutting the size of government, or in this case, sending the detainees to their countries of origin, are not even considered.

Ship them back by boat. Have them all shackled in place. The boat should then have a catastrophic “accident”, with barely time for the crew to don life vests but no time to release the terrorists.

Michele Flournoy is more worried about whether the Global Community likes us or not.

When will these liberal morons realize that it does not matter if they like us, so long as they FEAR us?

Rowan Scarborough writing in Human Events 'Soros Invades Pentagon' on April 21, 2009:

Democratic Party financier George Soros, who puts much of the blame for Islamic terrorists on America and former president George W. Bush, can celebrate his first foothold inside the Pentagon.

It is in the person of Rosa Brooks, far-left former Los Angeles Times columnist. She was once counsel to billionaire Soros' Open Societies Institute, whose funding arm bankrolls a number of hard-left pressure groups, such as MoveOn.org. MoveOn.org, of course, is the Washington outfit that smeared Gen. David Petraeus as a betrayer of his country, and depicted Bush in a Web ad as Adolph Hitler.

Brooks, who has also likened Bush to Hitler and claims the former president is "psychotic" and "fanatical," will not be a minor player. The Pentagon's No. 3 official and top policymaker, Undersecretary of Defense Michele Flournoy, has selected Brooks as a "principal adviser."

Congress should know exactly where its advice is coming from; while Flournoy moves her lips, George Soros does the talking.

Michele Flournoy is President Barack Obama's new Pentagon policy chief. She says members of Congress need to remember that closing the stigmatized prison in Cuba will mean hard choices for everyone. She spoke after Senate Democrats said they won't pay for closure until the administration delivers a satisfactory plan for what to do with the detainees.
I *was* going to post a retort to this drivel but I think it's now a Hate Crime to criticize a woman. And would be a violation of Tile 18 of the US Code to say anything bad about the Kenyan's administration.

oops
