Looks like this is around a week old or so.
I saw this posted 3 or 4 days ago. The notion that "crossed the threshold" and ought to be at 6 loses credibility each day when we remain at 5.
It is true that Tamiflu is back-ordered at many pharmacies but there is sufficient inventory coming through the distribution pipeline.
We have no herd immunity which means 40% to 50% of us will likely get this virus.
Not to panic. Just stock up on the medicines that will strengthen you. Avoid the rush.
Sounds like something on Snopes, including the baby on a ventilator and anonymous this and that... Oh, and buy this homeopathic "remedy" too. BS is right.
This doctor has since pulled back from his contention that information was being withheld on this virus.
He’s also a bit wacky, IMHO, with some of his homeopathic recommendations and other areas.
He’s also been contradicted on the email’s contention of the severity of the strain by researchers a great deal more expert in the field than he.
This panic email is harmful to the public, irresponsible and I hope the doctor is called to account before the proper boards.
I agree! We're getting too darn much info bordering on hysteria.........
any side effects to this? It’s 25 times the RDA.
. I googled Dr. Gitterle. Heres what I found. He is a M.D. practicing in New Braunfels (600 N. Union Ave.), and apparently living in Wimberley. He is however, in my estimation, a little wacky. He is a tree hugger, global warming, zero-carbon wacko, who has invented the 21 Century Margarita Mix and an amazing Cardio Formula Capsule with a special secret ingredient! You can buy three bottles today for the special price of $99.00. He graduated from U.T. Medical School, but looks more like a snake oil salesman to me. He may know what hes talking about, but Im not sure.

Good.
Now, good luck trying to find it in the stores.......
BTDT........
Those of us who have spent anytime in Japan or certain other northeast Asian countries know this because root beer and black licorice are NOT popular with the natives. Their normal reaction is "tastes like medicine." Read your ingredient labels carefully when you buy. If anise is listed among the first ingredients listed then buy it.
My suspicians exactly.
And, yes, I know all about the 1918-1919 influenza outbreak.
Here is more. It claims to be a clarifying statement from the doctor. (Although, there is no way to tell if he actually said this)

Does he happen to own Wimberley Pharmacy??? Sort of a weird memo to suggest a particular pharmacy.
