Obama is flying to St. Louis today for another "town hall" meeting. How much does it cost each time he takes a boondoggle? 747 Fuel costs, cargo transport fuel costs, limos, SUV's, his posse, etc?

Better to go flying around in that neat little plane than to have to sit in that awful boring Oval Office and deal with mundane things such as the swine flu and the outrage following that flyover in Manhattan. Besides, today is his mini-anniversary. He wants to see smiling faces, clapping, and feel the LOVE.
Hey, he WON. He can go campaigning and have fun if he wants to.

I read somewhere that it cost $68K/hr just to run the plane (basically the fuel cost).
Then there is the staff, support aircraft, his $100/lb steaks, ground vehicles, local police escorts, accommodations for all these people, etc.
A trip like this could easily cost a million plus.

He is on TV everyday—just a question of how many times per day...What in the world could he possibly have to say to people in person that could not be said in one of his many speeches?
