"They failed miserably," he said. "So now what are they going to do? The thing that they always do. They try to balance the budget on the backs of poor people and kids and people who have mental health issues." Every day I see more and more instances of the left not being able to see one foot in front of themselves, nor two feet behind. It was Meathead that pushed for higher tobacco taxes, which impact the poor more than anyone else. I still say hit ol' Meathead in his wallet . . .tax movie tickets. It's for the Children! ! ! !

Such as Reiner.

“and people who have mental health issues.”
He sounds like this is impacting him personally.

For the record, Meathead resigned from the First 5 program because of widespread fraud and abuse.
From SF Gate May 2006:
Sacramento — Film director Rob Reiner resigned Wednesday as chairman of the state children’s commission he helped create, and a Democratic lawmaker said he would ask state auditors to broaden an investigation to look at what he called “a potential pattern of coordination between a political agenda and the commission’s work.’’

More proof that RINOs can’t win no matter what. Schwarzenegger is the most liberal Governor ever and the libs still upset with him.

"They failed miserably," he said. "So now what are they going to do? The thing that they always do. They try to balance the budget on the backs of poor people and kids and people who have mental health issues." I wonder how much extra tax Meathead pays every year? Or is he just trying to ride the backs of the "poor people"?
