They put language in there STATING that forcing more unconstitutional regulations on us doesn't infringe on the 2nd Amendment. How freaking nice. I'm all warm and fuzzy, how about you? </sarc>

It would be intresting how this treaty reconconciles those two issues.

IIRC a treaty cannot superced the USC as delineated in Article VI:

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land;

To me that means 2/3 of Senators voting on a treaty cannot overturn any part of the USC. Article V - Mode of Amendment deals with that.

That said I too have not found case law on treaties vs USC; however, this court did issue the Heller decision.
