Pirates have seized two ships in which America has an interest and continue to hold Richard Phillips, Captain of the Maersk Alabama, for two million dollars ransom.
After several days of witnessing the lone superpower in the universe literally brought to its knees by four Johnny Depp caliber pirates, even journalists in the leftist media are starting to wonder:
Where in the hell is President and Commander-in-chief Barack Obama?
Until now, Obama has been strangely mute, preferring to let Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speak for the administration.

I try to keep this page non-political but sometime I have to post my thoughts. She made it public, not me. My reply has not showed up on hers yet but it had to do with Obama, not me, neutering the military & that I guessed she was right...we should all laugh about it like Hillary did & Obussolini did about driving America under financially.
But, this is the mind-set of the Obama followers...nothing can ever be wrong with what he does or doesn’t do and anyone who disagrees must be at minimum, overreacting.
Even if this did't start out as a deliberate warm-up, that's what it's fast becoming since all our enemies are able to see what a hopeless anti-American zero the Usurper really is.

You think you're kidding, but one news item last night said that the negotiations with "Somali elders" broke down when the Americans demanded that along with freeing the Captain (to which the "elders" agreed) the four pirates be arrested.
I'm only guessing about this and will happily eat my words if they turn out to be inaccurate, but I think that the reason that the military has not taken action is that the military isn't in charge of the affair - the State Department is. I base that on this weird and desperate struggle to find somebody to negotiate with - the pirates, their leaders, the tribal elders, anyone who will sit down at a table and pretend to play the game. The FBI presence. The pious bleatings about international, multilateral approval. All the talk, all the process - it is that, and not results, that are priority one. The government has to show everyone in the world how nice it is. The days of that reckless, cowboy Bush are over. We have Change. We have Hope.
We'll have a corpse if it doesn't stop, maybe more than one. The difficulty isn't that Obama isn't involved, it's that he is involved and in entirely the wrong way. This should have taken one minute of the President's time. "Here are my priorities - the hostages freed, the ship back, and enough dead pirates so that they don't try it again. Do your best and let me know what happens." That's it. Then back to pizza or Easter eggs or puppies or whatever else seems important at the moment.
Instead we have this ridiculous international circus - the pirates didn't create it, Obama's government did. In the meantime I'd be surprised if somebody at State isn't finding a way to pay the ransom with plausible deniability. We pay up, the hostage goes free, and Obama gets to strut around declaring the virtues of patience and negotiation. Until next week, when it happens again.

Relax everyone I just got word that Obama’s foreign policy teleprompter is still in it’s developing stages and is not fully operational. They hope to have it in working order very shortly but for now he can only speak through the propaganda and appeasement teleprompter which was the only one of it’s kind developed for the the campaign & early stages of his Presidency.

I already heard a lib defending the pirates claiming the international fisherman were stealing their fish, ie fishing in open waters, and they are just defending their fish. My message to Obama:”No blood for fish” LOL
