The Church and ND are giving an honor to a murderer. ND certainly is (to their shame), I'd like to know how the Church is doing so as well. Can you explain?

It certainly looks to the Average Joe like this honor is coming from the Roman Catholic church, through the university. Average Joe doesn’t know the fine points of Roman Catholic theology. All he sees is a dumbing down of what Jesus Christ supposedly stands for.
