George Bush never should have agreed to forming the TSA! this was another Democrat idea that he caved to! The TSa needs to be dissolved and security needs to return to the individual airlines! These people are like little Hitlers! Proof positive power corrupts!

I saw this video last week.
Expect more of these gestapo tactics in the future. The DHS needs to be completely dismantled. It is completely out of control.

I’m not a litigious person by nature, but I hope this guy sues someone’s a$$ off.

"Ron Paul worker harassed for carrying over $4000. in cash!" Can't really blame them. I've always suspected Paulien's are on drugs. They probably thought he was carrying.

Those brownshirts did everything they could to keep from giving a straight answer. If a cop has a warrant, he'll present it and get you out of the way for the search. If he "asks", then you can bet he doesn't have that warrant. If he won't tell you if you have to answer a question, you probably don't have to answer it. It's getting to the point where everyone needs to carry recording equipment in case you deal with cops.
I would love to hear the entire interrogation.

I’m sorry—I’m not particularly a Ron Paul supporter, but IMHO, your remarks are a bit over the top.

This sounds arbitrary. I know you can expect questions with cash amounts over ten thousand, and banks will sometimes hold deposits over 5000 for a while longer, but 4000? Whazzup wid dat? 'Nother goobermint a-hole feelin' like de bigshot, my guess.

I've found that, as an adult, cops are NOT your friend. They also typically are not well versed in the nuances of the law.

I first heard about people being hassled for carrying large amounts of cash on airline flights about 15 years ago.
This isn’t news.

You mean things like logic? Or... a basic understanding of what the Bill of Rights says? (If you want more fun with `em, see how much they know about your STATE Constitution!)

Please. Twenty-five years ago I knew a person who got questioned for carrying a “large” amount of cash at the airport. Those were the rules then as now.

I hope you never get stopped by a “bad cop” on the way to the bank to make a deposit, or anything like that... As the banks become more unstable, there will probably be a lot of people carrying larger amounts of cash when traveling. Why do you think people carrying cash should be subject to more intense scrutiny than someone carrying only a $10.00 and ATM cards? It’s not as if one can’t travel out of the country and proceed to drain their U.S. bank account over the next few days/weeks/months.
Also, just because this person supported Ron Paul doesn’t mean they are on drugs. And, not all “Paulien’s” as you call them would DO drugs, either...
At least those who supported Ron Paul know what the Constitution says (and no I didn’t vote for Ron Paul — I supported McCain & Palin as distasteful as that was...).

'Nother goobermint a-hole feelin' like de bigshot, my guess. Given the asset forfeiture laws, he's lucky that they didn't "arrest" the money, and send him on his way without it. In those cases, you have to prove in court, after posting a bond for the money, that the money was not gained in a criminal enterprise. It can be extremely expensive and take months, or even years, to get your money back, if ever.

The full recording is available at,

There is a player icon at the bottom of the most recent blog and clicking it should give you the two files in proper sequence. Total time is about 25+ minutes.
Interesting audio for sure, and just confirms my opinion of the TSA folks in general. Rude, boorish and belligerent...but that’s just my opinion. See what you think after listening to it.
