Islamic Plane v. Wall (Wall wins, Religion of Pieces in Pieces)
E-mail

Posted on 04/05/2009 12:44:57 PM PDT by JBGUSA

Source was anonymous e-mail so I cannot vouch for accuracy. If anyone has any knowledge I'd like to know.

This brand spanking new Airbus 340-600, the largest passenger airplane ever built, sits just outside it's hangar in Toulouse, France , without a single hour of airtime on the clock....

Enter the Arab flight crew of Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) to conduct pre-delivery tests on the ground, such as engine run-ups prior to delivery to Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. The ADAT crew taxied the A340-600 to the run-up area.

Then they took all Four engines to takeoff power with a virtually empty aircraft. Not having Read the run-up manuals, they had no clue just how light an empty A340-600 really is.

The take-off warning horn was blaring away in the cockpit because they had All 4 engines at full power. The aircraft computers thought they were trying to take off, but it had not been configured properly (flaps/slats, etc.)

Then one of the ADAT crew decided to pull the circuit breaker on the Ground Proximity Sensor to silence the alarm. This fools the aircraft into thinking it is in the air.

The computers automatically released all the brakes - and set the aircraft rocketing forward !! With the following result...........

The Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technology crew had no idea that this is a safety feature so that pilots can't land with the brakes on.

Not one member of the seven-man Arab crew was smart enough to throttle back the engines from their max power setting, so the $200 million brand-new aircraft crashed into a blast barrier, totalling it.

The extent of injuries to the crew is unknown due to the news blackout in the major media.

This was because coverage of the story was deemed insulting to Muslim Arabs.

Finally, the photos are starting to leak out.

£200 million aircraft meets wall. Wall wins.

“The extent of injuries to the crew is unknown”

I’m thinking they’re probably toast.

This actually happened about 6 weeks ago, IIRC. I saw some pictures of the totaled aircraft. I believe the story is true. I also believe that the arab crew is not really enjoying life at the moment.

Yeah. Like they care about learning to land...

This was because coverage of the story was deemed insulting to Muslim Arabs.

WTF?

Insulting to a ship of fools, The good news is they weren't in the air when they were "stuck on stupid"

Now every one of these will come with a lawyers warning, when doing a power up test,

DO NOT RELEASE BRAKE WHILE DOING A FULL POWER TEST!
تحذير لا تعفي الفرامل ، في حين تقوم السلطة الكاملة للتجارب!

This took place a few years ago and was suppressed so as not to sully the honor of Muslims and Muslim pilots. Yes the Muslim pilots (morons) trashed an airplane worth hundreds of millions of dollars

This picture was on FR a couple years ago.

That explains the fallacy. I viewed and discussed these photos friday with family, and contended that the A340-600 is not the "largest passenger aircraft ever built". If the photos are several years old, that could be true, but now that title belongs to the A380.

This took place November 15, 2007. This from cargolaw.com (A respected website dedicated to commercial shipping and cargo accidents) :

There were 9 persons on board. Of them, 5 crew sustained injuries. There were no fatalities -- although only God knows why.

Airbus reports that of the 5 injured people, 3 remain in hospital. Two were released overnight. Of the 3 persons remaining in hospital, one is an employee of Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT), a service provider for Etihad Airways, and 2 are Airbus employees. Airbus and ADAT are providing all necessary support to the persons involved and their families. An investigation has started and Airbus is providing full support to the official investigation authorities in France.

Of course, there is no excuse for the crew running this test without proper training. You don’t just run an airliner on full power on a whim.

But the fact that the aircraft would release the brakes without a command from the pilot is also disturbing.
