At this point in the game, why not have another election? Rules are that for one month each contestant will have 4 debates on the issues and be able to run ads, etc. No absentee ballots and only registered voters with proper ID may vote. Winner take all.

I'd be for another election as long as NEITHER of these two can have their names on it.

Plus, I want the Iraqi "purple finger ink" voting method instituted. Anyone trying to vote twice should be shot on sight.

why not have another election?

Minnesota election law doesn't allow for it at this time, the legislature would have to change it and it wouldn't apply to this case anyway. The recount is what the law calls for so that's what they're doing.
